The 35-year-old coach, who joins the club from Red Bull Salzburg, brings an impressive track record, having won back-to-back Austrian League titles and one Austrian Cup during his tenure.

Matthias Jaissle’s coaching prowess became evident during his time at Red Bull Salzburg.

Al Ahli had considered other high-profile names, including Massimilliano Allegri and Marco Silva, as potential candidates for the coaching position.
However, after being turned down by some of their preferred choices, they ultimately settled on Matthias Jaissle. Al Ahli’s CEO, Mr.

A Follow-up to Pitso Mosimane
Matthias Jaissle steps into the shoes of Pitso Mosimane, who successfully guided Al Ahli back into the Saudi Pro League after the club’s first-ever relegation.
However, Mosimane parted ways with the club in May, claiming that he had not been paid for the last six months.
Subsequently, he joined the United Arab Emirates side Al Wahda.
