In his debut season with Gunners F.C., Katsande helped the team win their first Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League Cup. He also left his mark in the CAF Champions League qualifiers when Gunners F.C. shocked African giants Al-Ahly with a 1-0 win at home. Katsande’s solid display in the reverse fixture failed to stop the Egyptian side from scoring 2-0 and dumping Gunners F.C. on a 2-1 aggregate out of the CAF Champions League.
Ajax Cape Town
After his successful stint with Gunners F.C., Katsande moved to Ajax Cape Town in the 2010 summer transfer window. He made his debut for Ajax Cape Town on 12 December 2010 in a 2-0 away win against Mpumalanga Black Aces. Katsande made his debut for Kaizer Chiefs a month later in the derby MTN final against rivals Orlando Pirates as a substitute, replacing Tshabalala in the 81st minute. He scored his first official goal for the Chiefs on 15 March 2014 in the Soweto derby against Orlando Pirates, the same team he made his debut against. His goal was a header in the 61st minute in a 1-0 win.
Katsande has been known for his tough tackling style and has received several yellow and red cards throughout his career. In 2013, he received 10 yellow cards and 1 red card.
