Ngcobo Out for the Rest of the Season
Zwane confirmed that midfielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo will be out for the rest of the season due to injury. This is a significant blow for Chiefs as Ngcobo has been a key player for them this season.
Hopeful for Billiat’s Return
Zwane also provided an update on forward Khama Billiat, stating that he has started jogging but is still far from returning to play. However, the team is working on his fitness before he can be handed over to the coaches on the field. Zwane is fighting for Billiat’s fitness to ensure he is ready to play and doesn’t risk getting injured again.
Chiefs’ Winning Streak and Standings Chiefs enter the game against Marumo Gallants on the back of a four-game winning streak, which is the first time they’ve achieved this feat this season. The winning streak has seen them climb to 40 points, level with second-placed Orlando Pirates and third-placed SuperSport United, who both have a superior goal difference.

Injury Woes for Chiefs
Zwane expressed his frustration with the many injuries to key players this season. He explained that the injuries forced them to make too many changes and put other players, especially the young ones, under pressure. However, Zwane is proud that those who were given the opportunity rose to the occasion.
Chiefs’ Next Game
Chiefs will host Marumo Gallants at the FNB Stadium at 20:00 on Saturday. The game is crucial for Chiefs as they fight for a spot in the CAF inter-club competition next year.
