Marumo Gallants’ striker, Ranga Chivaviro, has turned down an offer from Libyan club Al Akhdar as he takes his time to consider his next career move. The 30-year-old has attracted interest from Richards Bay, Sekhukhune United, Young Africans, Future FC, and the aforementioned Libyan club, whom he faced in the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup.

According to reliable sources at iDiski Times, Al Akhdar proposed a total package of $150,000 for a one-year contract with an option to extend for another season. However, the imposing striker, who scored an impressive 17 goals across various competitions for Gallants, has rejected their advances as he searches for his next destination.

Gallants’ Chairman had previously announced that they activated a one-year option, which means the player won’t be available on a free transfer. However, this condition was established as a mutual agreement, and Chivaviro is not keen on activating it, especially after the team’s relegation to the second tier.
