Ex-Kaizer Chiefs Player Urges Dzvukamanja to Stay at Orlando Pirates
Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Kelvin Mushangazhike has offered advice to Orlando Pirates striker Terrence Dzvukamanja, urging him not to leave the club.
Dzvukamanja’s contract with Pirates is set to expire in June, and despite his improved performances in the recent season, his future at the club remains uncertain. Pirates coach Jose Riveiro has indicated his desire to keep the forward beyond the concluded campaign.

Mushangazhike acknowledges that other clubs may be interested in signing Dzvukamanja, but he cautions against the idea of seeking a new challenge. The former Chiefs midfielder believes that such a move could disrupt the striker’s rhythm and potentially lead to a longer adaptation period at a new club. Instead, Mushangazhike advises Dzvukamanja to stay at Pirates, emphasizing that he has the talent and character to deliver even more in the upcoming season.
Dzvukamanja played a crucial role in Pirates’ success, scoring the winning goal in the recent Nedbank Cup final against Sekhukhune United. Throughout the 2022/23 season, he netted eight goals in 18 games, despite facing early struggles. His contributions helped Pirates secure qualification for the CAF Champions League, finishing second in the Premier Soccer League.
As the pre-season approaches, Dzvukamanja and his representatives will be hoping for a favorable contract agreement to ensure his continued presence at the club.
