After the death of her husband in another woman’s house Senzo Meyiwa’s widow Mandisa Mkhize has kept a low profile. Former Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa married Mandisa Mkhize in March 2013, but their union faced challenges due to cheating allegations.

Senzo: Murder of a Soccer Star, the Netflix documentary, sheds light on Senzo’s known fondness for women and Mandisa’s awareness of his infidelity. She seemed unfazed by the cheating, although alleged discoveries of hotel receipts in his laundry raised questions.

However, the dynamics shifted when she learned of Senzo’s affection for Kelly Khumalo. Kelly later gave birth to Senzo’s daughter, Thingo, who is now eight years old.

Another revelation from the documentary is that Senzo intended to make Kelly his second wife, a development that may not have sat well with Mandisa.

Who is Mandisa Mkhize?

Senzo’s widow, Mandisa Mkhize, is 36 years old, born in September 1987. She attended Bophelo Impilo Private School and later Ridge Park College. Subsequently, she pursued her studies at Durban University of Technology (DUT), earning a Diploma in Human Resources and a degree in Business Administration.

Mandisa is believed to hail from an affluent background. She and Senzo have a daughter named Nana, who would be 18 years old this year. Allegedly facing financial difficulties due to discontinued funding from Red Farm, former referee Andile “Ace” Ncobo is reportedly providing her with R1500 a month until she reaches 21.

Kelly Khumalo asserted that Mandisa engaged in stalking behavior and once attempted to force her off the road. The singer was unaware of Senzo’s marital status when they were dating until the incident occurred.

“We were in a convoy with Senzo and this woman comes up and is like ‘what the hell’, and then I phone him. Like dude, what the hell is going on? So we all stopped on the side of the road, I came out to say ‘okay sisi, what is the problem? Why are you trying to push me off the road?’ That’s when it came out,” said Kelly in a previous interview featured in the Netflix documentary.

“When she started calling me names… you stole my husband. I’m like woah,” she continued.

Kelly believed Senzo was leaving Mandisa for her, but he was allegedly spending time with Mandisa behind her back.
