Role: Human Resources Officer
As a volunteer with us in Bogota, you will actively participate in the design and implementation of human resources processes.
Your responsibilities will include tasks related to selection, recruitment, hiring, employee engagement, performance evaluation, and staff training.
Throughout your experience, you will gain familiarity with employee lifecycle processes, promote compliance with labor legislation, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the organizational climate and employee development plan.
Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements
You will have the opportunity to live with other volunteers, each with their individual bedrooms. The organization will cover accommodation costs and utility bills, and you will be provided with a phone card.
Our office will be conveniently located close to your accommodation. Additionally, you will receive a monthly allowance of 570€ to cover personal expenses, including food and local transport.
For the activities of Alianza, a vehicle will be provided, and you will be covered by health insurance (Henner).

We value your personal growth and development, and to ensure you make the most of your experience, we will provide comprehensive training.
You will be introduced to Alianza por la Solidaridad and the European Solidarity Corps, gaining an understanding of the responsibilities and rights of organizations and volunteers.
Furthermore, you will receive training in Youthpass, Henner Insurance, and SHEA. We will also offer specific training in feminist leadership, profiling, and role manuals, as well as knowledge related to the development of a strategic staff plan and a well-being plan.
By the end of your volunteering, you will have honed your ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Activity Dates and Location
The volunteering program will run for a total of 34 weeks, from 01/09/2023 to 31/05/2024, in Bogota, Colombia.
