Siyabulela Gwambi Departs from Chippa United

Chippa United, the South African football club, has witnessed the departure of Siyabulela Gwambi, who served as the assistant coach for the team. This significant development has come to light through information obtained by iDiski Times.

Gwambi’s Journey at Chippa United

Siyabulela Gwambi’s association with Chippa United commenced during the 2020/21 season when he joined as an assistant coach under Dan Malesela.

However, a significant change occurred when Malesela was dismissed from his role in April 2021.

In response, Gwambi was appointed as the caretaker coach for Chippa United, entrusted with the leadership of the team for a total of nine matches.

The Transition Period

After his stint as caretaker coach, Gwambi transitioned back into his role as an assistant coach, working alongside other notable coaches such as Gavin Hunt, Daine Klate, Lehlohonolo Seema, and Kurt Lentjies.

His adaptability and contributions were evident during this period, as he continued to play a crucial role in the team’s coaching staff.

The most recent season saw Gwambi resuming his position as an assistant coach, this time under the guidance of Morgan Mammila.

iDiski Times has gathered information indicating that Siyabulela Gwambi is no longer associated with Chippa United.

His absence during the team’s recent match against Richards Bay was conspicuous, further solidifying reports of his departure. As of now, the details surrounding his exit remain undisclosed.
