The pre-season friendlies hold significant importance for Kadewere, as they offer him the opportunity to make a strong case for his return to the Lyon team.

The 27-year-old Warriors international recently completed a loan spell with Real Mallorca, becoming the first Zimbabwean player to join a Spanish top-flight club.

During his time at Mallorca, Kadewere made nineteen appearances across various competitions, scoring two goals.

However, there have been reports indicating that he may depart the club again during the current transfer window.

French Ligue 1 side Montpellier has expressed interest in signing Kadewere on a permanent transfer. The potential move represents an opportunity for the Zimbabwean forward to explore new avenues in his professional career.
